Synchronous Control System for LED Displays:
A synchronous system operates in perfect harmony with the content displayed on a computer monitor. Whatever is shown on the computer is mirrored on the LED display screen in real time, ensuring synchronized updates based on the computer’s designated content. Consequently, synchronous control necessitates a dedicated computer to manage the large screen. If the computer is turned off, the LED display screen cannot receive signals and will cease to display content. This type of LED synchronous system is primarily used in settings where real-time synchronization is paramount.
Asynchronous System for LED Displays:
In contrast, an asynchronous system doesn’t require real-time synchronization for content updates. The principle involves pre-editing the content to be played on a computer, which is then transmitted to the control card of the LED display screen via various transmission media such as Ethernet cables, data cables, 3G/4G networks, Wi-Fi, USB drives, and more. The control card subsequently manages the display. Even if the computer is shut down, the display screen can still showcase pre-configured content. This approach is suitable for environments where real-time updates are not critical.
